JFK researcher Malcolm Blunt writes:
As someone who has more than a little knowledge of the JFK investigation and has studied at length much relating to internal CIA organization, structures, and methods, I am disappointed at the level of discourse within our research community about the Joannides files and their significance. Jefferson Morley and his multi-decade struggle with CIA deserves to be applauded and not subjected to "catcalling" by those who really ought to know better.
I have seen that awful term "nothingburger" used to describe the contents of the last dump of documents, and I am filled with dismay. I do hope that Jeff himself will not be over-troubled. I remember that Jeff managed to effectively deal with the hypercritical CIA historian, David Robarge, when his book “The Ghost” about James Angleton was published in 2017.
