BREAKING: The Trump-Ordered Release of JFK Files Has Begun
On Tuesday evening, researchers were already combing through documents looking for insights into the killing of the 35th president

On Monday, President Donald Trump said the release of all files related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy would begin the next day.
On Tuesday evening, he delivered.
Thousands of documents, comprising tens of thousands of pages, began landing on the website of the National Archives at approximately 7 p.m.
Exactly how many documents will be released in total — and how soon — was still unclear on Tuesday night. In his Monday press conference at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Trump said there would be 80,000 pages released.
According to the National Archives’ website, at 7 p.m. EST Tuesday, 1,123 PDF documents (totaling 32,000 pages) were released. Then at 10:30 p.m., an additional 1,059 documents (totaling 31,400 pages) dropped.
