Chad Nagle of American Conservative dissects what he calls one of “the more eloquent documents in the JFK Collection,” a June 1961 memo from historian Arthur Schlesinger Jr. to President John F. Kennedy proposing “a fairly drastic rearrangement of our current intelligence set-up.”
