On Apr. 14, a CIA document was declassified revealing that former Mexican President José López Portillo had been a U.S. intelligence asset while serving as his country’s head of state. López Portillo, who died in 2004 at age 83, became the fourth Mexican president to be revealed as having worked for the CIA.
