It was a marathon that must have been as chaotic for the National Archives staffers who spent days and nights declassifying and scanning documents as it has been for people in the JFK research community and the media, first awaiting their release and then speed-reading through them. President Donald Trump has promised 80,000 pages will be made public, a number we’re still fact-checking.
