JFK’s grandson isn’t celebrating the impending release of files related to the 1963 assassination. Calling President Donald Trump’s recent executive order “nothing heroic,” John Bouvier (“Jack”) Kennedy Schlossberg, son of President John F. Kennedy’s daughter Caroline, has denigrated the Jan. 23, 2025 presidential decree — “Declassification of Records Concerning the Assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” — as a “political prop.”
