Online MAGA Dunks on Rep. Luna's JFK Announcement
Trump supporters scoff at planned March 26 hearing on Kennedy's assassination; damage control is the Florida congresswoman's only defense

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s announcement of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets’ first hearing on the JFK assassination files received a rough reception on Twitter/X, with the vast majority of 10,000-plus responses sounding vehemently negative.
In the lingo of the internet, the Republican from St. Petersburg, Florida, got “ratioed.” She reaped an embarrassingly high ratio of negative to positive replies in her social media account.
The wave of MAGA criticism aimed at a Trump loyalist showed the imperative that immediate JFK disclosure holds for the president’s online supporters, adding to public pressure on President Donald Trump to deliver on his Jan. 23 pledge of a “full and complete” release of records related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy nearly 62 years ago.
After enjoying a favorable social media around the creation of the Task Force on secrets, Luna suffered a very bad day that illuminated the perils of lawmakers seen to stand in the way full and rapid JFK disclosure.
