What a collection of 44 secret documents tell us about JFK's assassination
Three years ago I filed what is known as a Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR) request with the CIA for 44 documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. I’m still waiting for a decision.
The MDR process allows researchers to ask for declassification of government documents that have previously been withheld under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). These 44 documents were originally withheld in response to my lawsuit Morley v. CIA. The lawsuit was dismissed in 2018 by Judge Brett Kavanaugh in his last decision before ascending to the Supreme Court.
