Republican-Only Task Force Contacts Federal Agencies on JFK Files

Rep. Luna's 'bipartisan' investigation has so far attracted no Democratic support

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), chair of the House Oversight Committee’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, sent a letter to four Trump administration officials identified in Executive Order 14176, entitled, “Declassification of Records Concerning the Assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”
