In my Wecht symposium speech, I identify a key batch of still-secret CIA records (and I mean still top secret after 61 years) which will shed new light on the JFK story.

I’m talking about the file of George Joannides, the undercover chief of psychological warfare operations in the Agency’s Miami station in 1963.

Short version: Joannides ran a psychological warfare operation, launched in January 1963, that manipulated Lee Harvey Oswald, the accused assassin who denied killing JFK. Joannides is long deceased. His personnel file, still classified, is key to understanding the state of the JFK story in 2024.
