The CIA's strategy of evasion
Why the Agency is concealing 11,225 JFK documents in 2022.
After the CIA blew two statutory deadlines for full JFK assassination disclosure under (October 2017 and October 2021), people naturally started to wonder: what are they still hiding?
The answer, if you believe the CIA and other federal agencies, is, roughly, “We are withholding vital national security information that has nothing to do with the causes of the murder of the 35th president.”
The claim, unfortunately, is false on both counts. The withheld information is relevant to the JFK’s assassination. To cite but one example, the Agency is withholding many pages of material on at least four undercover CIA operatives who were informed weeks before JFK’s murder about the left-wing politics, volatile personal life and unusual foreign contacts of Lee Harvey Oswald, the suspected assassin who denied killing Kennedy.
