Trump struggles to make news by promising to do what he didn't do in 2017
When Robert Kennedy Jr. joined Donald Trump’s campaign in Arizona last Friday, the former president drew a rousing cheer from supporters with his shouted promise to “release all of the remaining documents pertaining to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.”
Jacob Hornberger says Trump is “lying,” that he knows no president has the power to defy the CIA on the last of the JFK files. The act of lying implies some consciousness of truth but the point is otherwise well-taken. Certain assassination records are beyond the reach of the people and their elected government in Washington.
