So former Cuban plantation owners, wealthy American corporations which had assets in Cuba, and Mafia casino owners get their plantations, corporate assets, and casinos back? Would most Americans choose to spend their taxes fighting to make these people whole? My guess: no, not by a long shot. I have to agree with the righties. We certainly do not live in a democracy.
