Experts assess the importance of the new JFK documentary on Paramount +

On last week’s JFK Facts podcast co-host Larry Schnapf and I spoke with Barbara Shearer, the director of the documentary “JFK: What the Doctors Saw,” now available on Paramount +. The film presents the recollections, individually and collectively, of seven doctors who tried to save President Kennedy’s life on November 22.

Shearer tells the remarkable story of how the film came to be made and distributed by a major streaming service.

As someone who was particularly influenced by one of them, Dr. Robert McClelland, I think the documentary is the most important JFK development in 2023.
