These broadcasters have no idea what they're talking about, and don't know about the smoking gun documents. Like a Johnson 30.06 found after the assassination by most likely the lawn crew. There is also "FBI Field Office Dallas 89-43-1A-122", which was an envelope regarding a 7.65 bullet found 10 days later after the assassination in Dealey Plaza. The National archives sourced this as "No Entry Number, Box 173E. Stack 650L1, Row 70, Compartment 3, Shelf 7".
There is also an an FBI teletype from Special Agent San Antonio stating [people did target practice on the picket fence with a rifle at the Grassy Knoll, 2 days before the assassination of JFK which was reported by 2 dallas police officers.
Caitlin Johnstone is one Aussie worth paying attention to:
"You do not live in an imperfect but well intentioned democracy in which the people determine the best course of action for their government using votes, you live in an oligarchy with no meaningful separation between corporate power and state power, whose fate is determined not by votes but by a loose transnational alliance of plutocrats and sociopathic government agencies. You do not live in a separate nation in a world full of other separate nations, you live in a globe-spanning power alliance which functions as a single empire controlled by unaccountable elites who use governments as tools to advance agendas of control and domination."

By the way, look around a little and you learn Blum established the Asia Foundation. During the early 1950's word about the foundation got circulated and Blum was forced to sever his ties there. Google the Asia Foundation you will it is established in 1954 and in 2019 revenue was $104,324,731 expenses $104751,151. BTW the French left Vietnam in 1954.
Blum est. the. original Asia Foundation before or around 1950 to influence the population of South East Asia concerning CIA plans in South Vietnam. Read these two stories and you will find our he is still relevant to day because of the recent USAID controversy. See my comment above.
His name can alos be fourn in the book THE CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY - AN INSTRUMENT OF GOVERNMENT TO 1950. He is difficult -(for me) to find and was very influential in his efforts to aid the early years of CIA.
You have putting up some great remarks BTY. Transcend and Overcome.
Blum had early influence at CIA and in 1951 est CFA as the Committee for Free Asia and ran into issues later on, this is why we see the Asia Foundation as being est. in 1954. One of his clandestine activities come to light.
Well this is very interesting. I have visited all three in the last week or so.
Although I have learned using Google that I do have issue getting that 404-page when I then can find it later when I google it. My provider is through satellite and I generally blame them (?) the Hughes.net see,ms to be plenthy right of center.. I'll see if I can get to them today. I do have luck at muchrock for the sites there. I also suspect I might be at the receiving end of some foul play also.
Anti-war, I have been at Muckrock for an hour or two today reviewing - stuff.
You need to try again to get to part 1 & 2 and the reason is. because in the MuckRock text words are high - lighted, the high - light referred text follows immediately in the form of original text from various CIA sources.
Blum headed up the Asia Foundation in 1953, what is harder to find is that he was instrumental in the Committee for Free Asia - CFA . Blum started working for the U.S. government in 1942 - the Economic Cooperation Administration was established 1948 - Blum joined 1950.
The Committee for Free Asia was EST. 1951 by the Office of Policy Coordination which was the covert operation wing of the CIA established in 1948 which actually acted independently until 1950
Bottom lin from all appearances Blum worked covertly within the CIA as a "floater".
Hint I search google Blum mockrock CIA, Blum asia foundation and I get the site. My entire effort here is to verify USAID was secretly a front for CIA early on and went relatively untouched until very recently
I’d like to weigh in briefly on the Trump Gaza plan.
There are two points I think people are missing:
1) Despite the words seeming to come out of Trump’s mouth I personally suspect Trump aims to place the U.S. in the position of guaranteeing the safety and dignity of the Palestinian people. If so this is a good thing and very much in US/MAGA interests. If this turned out to be not true I would be shocked.
2) More importantly the No1 issue facing Trump and the American people is getting our government out from under the thumb of Israel. This problem cannot be taken on directly — it can only be sort of “reverse engineered” over time.
But it has to start somewhere and this is what I think we’re seeing. Before yesterday our only leverage with Israel was to threaten their being abandoned by the US… which powerful Zionists in the U.S. would never accept. Now Trump has raised an alternative threat — that the U.S. might exert expanded control. I’m seeing this move as pure genius. If we could impose a two state solution, if we could “partition” Israel in a manner similar to the partitioning of Berlin after WWII, I think it would go a long way toward backing them way off and showing them who is their boss.
Thanks for the link. Trump has a strong personal motivation for going after the national security state scumbags. All the dirtbags who came after him must be looking over their shoulders now, as are the people who put Tulsi on a terrorist watch list. The hunters are now the hunted. Ha! I love it. I think it's likely that these people, at the highest level, are the same people who are continuing the JFK assassination coverup. Thus, the JFKA community benefits from Trump's revenge.
I hope you are right about his attitude towards Israel.
My plane landed in Sydney and the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer asked if I had a criminal record. I said "I didn't know that was still required!."
I'm sorry, ABC, but your collective heads are under a rock on this one. The lone gunman theory holds exactly zero water, and even if the magic bullet physics-defying ballistics implied by the Warren Report were somehow accurate, there is too much actual evidence that keeps those of us interested in the truth engaged in its pursuit. For most of us actually thinking about this, the government's position still appears as yet another example of the its attempt to explain its way out of complicity based on no actual truth at all.
While I agree that we probably won't get any new information from whatever documents remain to be released, I assure you that actual amateurs have done well-documented work on the JFK murder and are much more credible than the other theorists you mention. And yes: it can look like a national obsession, but there are plenty of credible experts who would be willing to help ABC fill its broadcasts with facts.
It seems to me that in this case, conspiracy theories thrive because a Congressional investigation concluded JFK's assassination most likely involved one. AFAIC, that is the default position, as it essentially overrules the Warren Committee's creative writing exercise.
I wouldn't get too stressed as someone who lives in Australia I can tell you that the ABC is a hard left leaning organisation (think MSNBC or CNN for American's reading this) and they would never give Trump any credit for doing anything good.
They have a vested interest in painting anything Trump does as evil incarnate and are probably trying to get ahead of the story incase anything meaningful is disclosed so they can 'we told you tis was rubbish'.
Steven FYI you notion, if I read this right , MSNBC, CNN, are "hard left is" pretty much off the chart. Sort of the same mischaracterization as the republicans saying Trump won and overwhelming mandate.
My Merriam Webster's II -New Collegiate dictionary 2: The wishes of the political electorate expressed by election results to its representatives in government.
The point is trump received, according to the Council Foreign Relations 49.8%, while Harris received 48.3%, leaving 1.5% that went to other candidate. The margin of the popular being the actual vote of the voters not the electoral vote, which is a topic for later debate here considering the B.S. practice of jerrymandering election voting districts.
The raw numbers of voting age Americans is approximately 264,798,961, total eligible voters was 244,660,890 subtract that number from the total number of voting age Americans and the number is 88,324,197.
20,138,051 of the total of eligible voters didn't vote and / or some of the vote may have been tossed out.
When we consider the difference between the two candidates votes was 1.5% I believe difference in the vote totals says much more about the inequity of the electoral college than is signifies Trump won some dynamic victory.
However to be fair by definition he did win a mandate. How great the significance the individual voters totals are is hardly accurate.
The electoral college IMHO misrepresents the process of voting IMHO and has outlived it's usefulness. As I stated previously the jerrymandering of voting districts is a outwardly obvious insult to the voting public, burns up incredible amounts of time and money, and in my strongly held opinionallows the misrepresentation of the actual voting public.
Despite its origin in maintaining slavery and the power of the "small" slave states, the electoral college system would IMHO be justifiable were it not for its perversion through gerrymandering. Fairvote.org has a great solution that it calls fair representation voting.which of course gets no attention at all by the Mockingbird corporate media.
Whatever CNN and MSNBC in the US are, they are not left, much less hard left, according to any traditional definition. Accurate descriptions of their political views, and that of the modern Democratic Party, would include neo-liberal, interventionist, neo-conservative, pro-empire, pro-US hegemony, pro-surveillance state, pro-oligarchy, and pro-military. These terms describe the new "woke" definition of left in the US. The Democratic Party is not a left party, as AOC in a rare moment of clarity admitted when she started her political career.
These broadcasters have no idea what they're talking about, and don't know about the smoking gun documents. Like a Johnson 30.06 found after the assassination by most likely the lawn crew.
