Outstanding! Well done Mr Morley. A recent mantra occurring to me. Since 1956. Pretty much everything LHO did was posturing himself in a series of disinformation campaigns. From Russia thru New Orleans to Dallas. Support your local researcher. Godspeed Jeff.
Has it really been since July 4, 2003 since Jefferson Morley's FOIA request for the Joannides personnel files to be released? Such an astounding, slow "drip, drip" of information. Thank you, Mr. Morley, for your persistence, patience, and dedication to reporting on this such important, history making event!
Side note: how many current CIA employees know the truth and are still actively involved in the coverup? Five, ten, twenty-five, fifty, a hundred? More?
I have thought for a few years that what pushed the CIA over the edge was the back channel to Khrushchev. Let me take that a step further and say I also suspect there NEVER WAS a “Missile Crisis”… that it was all based on fudged “briefings” that supposedly the Russians were shipping nukes into Cuba. But the Kennedy boys figured it out and THAT was what signed their death warrants.
So what a crock of shit that JFK “stared down” Khrushchev and the Russians. Who he *really* “stared down” was Dulles and the CIA.
I’ve also believed for a long time that Angleton ran the assassinations wing of the Agency. There’s actually a lot of evidence to support that… this video now included.
I have to thank YouTube's algorithm for pushing Jim Manning's videos to me. I had never heard of him until then.
IMO, Manning has the best explanation for the assassination. In the twisted minds of the ultra-rightwing nutjobs who ran the national security state and the military, JFK's actions to improve relations with Moscow and perhaps end the Cold War was treasonous. I'm sure the people who are still running the coverup believe the same thing now.
What's diabolical to me is how they cultivated a likeable image of JFK for the public while secretly hating the man all these years. They were smart enough to know that smearing him as a commie, pinko traitor would ultimately blow back on them.
I would agree Manning has the best overall take on the JFKA to date. Full Stop.
That said I still have quibbles. For instance I can’t believe McCone was involved let alone an organizer in March ‘63. But all in all March ‘63 rings true to me for a number of reasons… IIRC March ‘63 was when the purchase of the Carcano was attributed to LHO — which I would site as the first evidence of an Agency driven plot. Plus that would have been prior to the handoff of LHO from De Mohrenschildt to the Paines in April ‘63. So all of that very remarkabley and very much adds up.
A comment on a President committing “treason” by forming a secret alliance with Russia. Unless I’m missing something this is an absurd concept. And they did the same thing to Trump. In the absence of a declaration of war by Congress who is our ally and who is our enemy is DECIDED BY THE PRESIDENT. As you and I have noted repeatedly the President commits treason only if we presuppose the CIA and the Security State rank higher than the President on the nation’s org chart.
I agree 100% with your last paragraph. I have no doubt the CIA thinks it is above the president and the rest of the elected government in matters of policy, especially foreign policy.
Manning is probably wrong in some details because so many things remain a matter of speculation, but, like you, I think he offers the most likely overall explanation for the assassination.
AWL, I have a similar take on James Manning. My favorite “tidbit” from Manning tells the story of his employment in a jewelry store and a gun-toting, part-time watch repairman threatens him to “shut up” regarding the Kennedy Assassination. He’s a gem!
That was a bizarre coincidence, kind of like my friend in Midland hiring Roscoe White's son to do some work on his house in 1990 (or there about) and hearing his story for the first time.
The CIA has always been complicit in JFK's assassination, whether as a partner or as the driver. The Bay of Pigs may have been the final turning point, but in addition Kennedy at that time was determined to rein the agency in ways that it would not tolerate. I have been reading the research for the past 40 years, including all five volumes of Douglas Horne's Inside the ARRB, which reveal that Kennedy was about to draw down the troops that we already had in South Vietnam as a first step toward disengaging entirely, also a move that made powerful enemies, not just in, but including the CIA.
The article in the post above is hosted on "Real Clear Politics," which is a very right-wing media grabber, taking articles from other sites and adding their own hard-right spin on things. Just take a gander at the lower right area, where such headlines as "Speaker Johnson: We've Given Everybody A Tax Cut, That Will Be Jet Fuel For The Economy," "Mollie Hemingway on BBB: Every Democrat Just Voted To Raise Taxes And Not Secure The Border," and "Charlie Kirk: Corporate Class Pressuring Trump For "Mass Amnesty" Deal That Would "Break" MAGA Coalition" predominate.
I don't see any attribution for the RCP posting to the JFKFacts webstream, so it's unclear who used RCP as their source for this story.
It would probably be better, in the future, to go to the original source, rather than give credence to a slanted news outlet. JFKFacts should endeavor to provide accuracy and truth, not repost biased opinion pieces, even if they do contain nuggets of truth inside the shiny wrapper.
All news outlets are terribly slanted. I end up having to watch 2 Way to get some decent coverage of some of the news because Halperin keeps the Democrat and the Republican honest. But it's slim pickings out there in terms of objectivity.
Agreed. There is very little "independent" mainstream media these days, as they're all owned by major corporations with an agenda of one sort or another. I will, however, check out 2 Way.
And what motivates their agenda. The green stuff! Wonder what it would cost for the Alphabet nets to tells the story's right? Let's pass the hat. 🤣 . Always the green stuff.
It's about all the lies we were told, Gupta being one of the biggest liars despite his veneer of objectivity.
I won't be watching 2 Way. You can see all those people in the MSM which makes them IMO not credible or even interesting.
Try Katie Halper, Kim Iversen, Aaron Mate, The Grayzone (Max Blumenthal), Jimmy Dore, Glenn Greenwald, and Due Dissidence (Keaton Weiss and Russell Dobular) on YouTube and Rumble.
How sweet is the air along the primrose path down which you skip toward ... ?
Can anyone here who is getting all quigley down under contemplating USG revelation and MSM acknowledgement of the Joannides story -- an operation we have known about and analyzed for years -- enlighten me regarding your destination?
Can you describe the City of Gold toward which we have trekked for tortuous decades through a wilderness of mirrors?
What do we seek? How does prostrating ourselves before the parent state to beg for their self-inculpating alms -- confirmations of conspiracy -- bring us any closer to what should be our ultimate goal: to define and effect justice for JFK and the untold millions collaterally damaged by his assassins?
As I have written countless times and to little avail, until we can answer the question, we are engaged in planning a route without a destination.
We hold the high ground. We outnumber the bastards.
When will we begin to conduct ourselves as a learned, righteous, devoted community of researchers instead of, with noble exceptions noted and celebrated, a confereracy of dunces?
Anyone with reasonable access to the evidence who does not conclude that JFK was killed by criminal conspirators is cognitively impaired and/ or complicit in the crime.
The puzle pieces are falling into place. There is now no question that Lee Oswald was working with the CIA/Angleton, Phillips, and others. Joanides was critical because in addition to the overt control, he needed to make Oswald believe he was not going to take the fall. Actually my contact told me that Oswald thought the hit had been called off and as he started suspecting that he was the fall guy, he went to meet Phillips at the movie theater to get a way out of Dallas.
Apparently after' It's' Highness realized no one likes him, failed leader has gone all in. I said from the beginning we would not get all the documents not until Trump realized an avenue for him to benefit.
Don't cut this phony any slack folks he does not and never will deserve it. His actions are those of a man who plays a game of calculated risks vs benefits. The CIA knows they are in big trouble, if figure failed leader will pardon the CIA and renew their control over DOJ. Conversely I harbor the opinion he is convinced by the realization the data will further the deepen divides in our society.
Realize a couple of things. The Texas flood debacle stole the headlines and rightfully so.
I left a rather long comment today again at HCR's site responding to a complaint about me being so cold in my lengthy comment the previous day. Could be I learned about coldness from the experts at CIA. After all we are all products of our environment.
Mr. Morley I've learned so much from not only your work but from your personal conduct. My respect is great although you may sometimes wonder.
Congratulations for fighting the right fight, and winning the "right fight", your generosity and dedication are beyond the pale. In addition those of you who have labored in efforts to aid Jeff deserve well earned respect for getting it right.
Enjoy the success while it lasts there is much more work to do, this occasion proves this.
Fellas I smell a rat already. I' m referring to failed frightened leader, the guy who just pulled another stunt to grease his way on Wall Street. The big money guys who invest and cash in via computerized trading programs. His method, those floating tariff dates. Forcing market trends up and down based on exactly when the tariffs go into affect. Billionaires are cashing in big time. This does stink of high scandal but it's routine wall street business as usual, IMO.
What smells is Trump pressing today for the Epstein case to be put to bed. This after Bondi, Blondie WTHE claimed she had personal control of the schedule book sometime ago. Now the administration claims there is no such schedule book or WTFE is non-existent.
It is common knowledge Robert Maxwell worked for Israeli security and had Mossad connections. And distributed the PROMIS software illegally obtained fraudulently. Internet Archive.
"the judiciary committee concluded that there was/is evidence to indicate that the Justice Department "fraudulently" took, converted and stole . . .(Inslaws PROMIS software. 48 pages
You best believe CIA don't want this story out at the current time. Another deal CIA and/or NSA knows all about. Google. Inslaw, Bill Hamilton, Danny Casolorao, Maxwell is believed to have helps an Israeli security company install back doors in the software they sold to various countries which allowed the activities conducted to me monitored by the security company.
Bill Hamiton who owned the contract to develop PROMIS got stiffed. Time line Hamilton started the Institute For Law and Social Research 1973, he fought the government until 1998, Bill Clinton adviser Vince Foster was tied to the PROMIS case interestingly enough. He committed suicide or was murdered, opinions vary.
Typical CIA/NSA behavior. The U.S. intelligence, if the truth be known in full is filthy dirty and crooked at it's highest levels. I go by what I see and it is not good!
Outstanding! Well done Mr Morley. A recent mantra occurring to me. Since 1956. Pretty much everything LHO did was posturing himself in a series of disinformation campaigns. From Russia thru New Orleans to Dallas. Support your local researcher. Godspeed Jeff.
My impression as well. It's close to obvious when you look at his interviews and public pronouncements now. He wasn't a very good actor, but he tried.

Well said sir.
When will the CIA admit that they killed JFK (with the assistance of others in the government) because they thought JFK was a traitor?

There was extensive planning of the assassination: 63 meetings at Langley and other locations.
https://youtu.be/Ge0GmJc_Odk?si=7HiFKAUngKlSq0Gq
It was a carefully planned CIA operation. There was nothing "rogue" about it. The big question was whether LBJ would go along.
I would agree Manning has the best overall take on the JFKA to date. Full Stop.

Manning seems to have looked under a lot of rocks.
Do you think anything has changed since 11/22/63? The FBI deleted a minute of the Epstein jail video.

If anything, the secret government has only gotten worse, much worse.

I would say mainstream news is controlled instead of slanted. It's not about left v. right, Democrat v. Republican. It's about truth v. falsehood.
It’s about The Truman Show vs Something Closer To Reality…
Everything we are told about anything of consequence is a lie.

The mainstream media exist to serve the interests of the oligarchy which has its own agenda. They can't be bought by the little people like us.
But it's a nice notion.
So is the idea that we live in a free country, but let's not perpetuate myths.
One test for "objectivity" would be how 2 Way handled the Covid and vaccine controversies when we were being lied to 24/7.

Thanks!
