There's no excuse for the CIA taking weeks to release the remaining documents. Obviously, they don't want to release what they have. Their problem may be that they can't just burn it up because there are lists of the documents in their possession with descriptions and page counts. Oh, what to do. Trump should have given the CIA a deadline to comply, like two weeks. Failure to meet the deadline should have had a penalty, like forcible seizure of the documents by the Marines and the arrest of everyone in the building.

1. Really hope there aren’t missing pages within the documents;
2. Really hope there aren’t large redactions as there still are on many documents that have been released;
3. While I like that the manageable list they had to work with increased the chances of getting them, we can’t let their compliance excuse any future “hey we did exactly what you wanted, what more can we do” claims. Other posters have mentioned other documents that would be important to have. We should start preparing “list 2” for the CIA.
