The story of the the CIA Man Who Read Oswald’s Mail was first reported by JFK Facts and then picked up Peter Baker of the New York Times.
I was quoted in the Times article.

The Israeli press reported more about Efron’s background, showing he was immersed in the history of espionage.
And in the history of espionage, I don’t know of any spy who had his distinction: reading the personal correspondence of an accused presidential assassin who was silenced before he could tell his side of the story.
