CONGRATULATIONS, Jeff, on snagging Jeffrey Sachs for this timely interview on the anniversary of JFK's Peace Speech. I just watched it twice, and have sent it to a host of friends and colleagues, timed to the 18-minute point, where the real action begins. He is such a wonderful scholar and human being: warm, erudite, poetic, and eminently reasonable. His overview validates everything I wrote about the Peace Speech and what happened to JFK in Volume 5 of my own book, INSIDE THE ARRB. It was very refreshing to hear Jeffrey Sachs speak about the 1963 event that destroyed the faith of Americans in our government, and indeed our system of government, in such honest, commonsense terms. Quite a contrast to the mainstream historian I had sitting next to me at the LUNA hearing on May 20th---someone who will not discuss evidence in the JFK case, because in her mind anyone opposing the Warren Commission's conclusions is a "conspiracy theorist."
Mr. Horne it is wonderful to see your comments here. Thank you for joining, and thank you for your invaluable scholarly work over the years. I have been reading you and watching your videos for a very long time.
Doug, thank you so much for what you've done, and what you did at the hearing. I have still to read your book but it is now top of my reading list, together with Sachs'.
Coe was a disgrace. Tragically, the modern Democrats are locked into fighting any talk of conspiracy, because MAGA has weaponised it well and use it as fuel; hey, it only makes sense — ironically. But they fail to see that the people don't see the JFK, or MLK or RFK assassinations, as a partisan issue, and so by their clumsy congress circus act they squander what respect they may have left. It's sad to see.
An excellent choice for an interview. Sachs provides tremendous insight. I’d be up for Part 2 where Sachs gives his thoughts on why U. S. Intel resists full disclosure. I’d like to hear Sachs respond to Wm. Whitten’s claim that the same forces that killed JFK attempted same on Trump’s life.
This is a worthwhile companion piece to the previous. Infowars’s guest “Syrian Girl” is highly credible. At various points in this videos she recounts how Israel has murdered anyone and everyone who seeks peace on behalf of Israel. I can’t vouch for how true it is but she repeats that Israel slaughters not only seekers of peace but their entire families down to grandchildren. Whether true or not such statements are terrifying.
I certainly appreciate Jeffrey Sachs knowledge of history an economics. He is certainly a very intellegent guy. But Sachs is too conformist and stuck on official narratives, Such as the global warming nonsense. All life on Earth are carbon based lifeforms, the more Co2 the more lush and green the planet.
But more troubling is Sach's assertion that “The political system has collapsed into one-person rule,” which is preposterous as 74,000,000 million patriotic Americans voted for Trump on the issues that Trump is delivering on. Trump is doing exactly what we voted for.
The same forces that killed JFK, are responsible for the assassination attempts on Donald Trump, and for the same reason, the military industrial complex demands war. Kennedy and Trump want peace.
So you voted for that cackling moron Kamala aye? Well you lost. There is no known remedy for Trump Derangment Syndrome. So I advise you to get a steady source of sedatives to last you the next three and a half years...probably longer; through Vance's presidency as well.
May 10th 2025, I had a heart attack, ten days in the hospital. The ole ticker stopped completely, two stints later I'm here making a fool of you.
Considering what Israel has just started under the watch of Dear Leader, the guy who was going to end all wars, I'd say you might want to save some of the advice for yourself William.
BTW that nick name 'hot shot' fits me to a 'T' I got the paddles about four times. I kind of like it thanks!
"Life is rough, It's even rougher if you are stupid!" From John Wayne's character Sgt. John Stryker in the Sands of Iwo Jima 1949.
BTW who I voted for is none of your business.
I ain't scared Bubba, I been sleeping very will with no meds.
Trump has been trying his best to end the war in Ukraine but that little punk tinpot dictator doesn't want the war to end, and he keeps provoking Russia with drone attacks.
Now Netanyahu is boming Iran. Iran and Russia are alies. This could very well lead to a wider war and perhaps a nuclear exchange. If this doesn't frighten you then you need to see a therapist.
For those interested in JFK's Peace Speech, and who enjoyed the Jeffrey Sachs interview posted by Jeff Morley, I would like to draw your attention to Part 3 of my lavishly illustrated and narrated Powerpoint "JFK's War with the National Security Establishment." In the following link, I have allowed you to join the presentation when I begin discussing Jeffrey Sachs and the Peace Speech: https://youtu.be/0kXp92uYLZM?t=1477
From that point, until the end of the program, the discussion is about the grand overview of what happened in November 1963: how President Kennedy was killed by his enemies within government, a conclusion fully endorsed by both Jefferson Morley and Jeffrey Sachs.
This was a wonderful interview with Jeffrey Sachs. He brings so much insight and perspective to this subject. At the end of the conversation he talks about the difference between a republic and an empire and it is so revealing. Then he talks about the historical prototype of the Roman Republic and how it changed to an Empire. The similarities of that empire to our own government now is immense. We observe the forms of a republic just like the Roman Empire did, but underneath the forms we observe the substance of a government ruled by an emperor, just like the Roman Empire. So perfect.

The same forces who killed JFK still run US foreign policy. Is Trump even in the loop? I doubt it.

What a great video. Napolitano is good.
That Trump is out of the loop on foreign policy is one of the great revelations of the past two weeks — and of the last 100 years.
So as they ask in the video…
Who’s in charge of foreign policy? The Deep State ? Congress ? Israel ?
I'll take #1 and #3.
This is very very bad (Napolitano again and Sachs again)…

Trump himself appears 10:30-11:00.
He appears to me defeated.

Wow, really?
Uh, BTW I didn't vote for Trump, the same as many others.
Yea really!

Good luck hotshot!

Sachs is a brilliant thinker.

One-person rule? Who really runs US foreign policy? Was Trump even in the loop about the decision to allow the drone attack on Russia?
