"The major divide in American politics is between those who want to prioritize empire and global expansion vs those who want America — crumbling, dysfunctional, demoralized — to be the primary focus of government. The former group was once dominated by Bush Republicans but now the Clinton Democrats have joined them . . . . The former group doesn’t believe they’re accountable to American voters". Matt Taibbi
Yep. We're basically a one party country where the party doesn't serve the interests of the American people but instead serves the interests of a wealthy, international oligarchic class and a foreign power. It maintains its power over the elected government through bribery (mostly legal) and extortion.

Very true… Recall how close we came to a Hillary Clinton vs Jeb Bush presidential election “contest”. Where would that have left us?
Bush R’s do nothing to serve R voters.
Clinton D’s do nothing to serve D voters.

All good points
I read the Mexico City report by Hardaway and Lopez.
I also followed Hardaway’s website — an ‘old school’ effort that nonetheless provided many valuable insights.
After a while it became apparent that Hardaway had grown discouraged and had given up the fight.
It’s encouraging to see and hear Hardaway re-engage… especially under oath and before Congress.
He has a lot to offer.
Inspiring firsthand account of a records researcher.
