The biggest mistake we’re making collectively as Americans is failing to indict and prosecute Ruth Paine. I’m pretty sure there’s no statute of limitation for accessory to murder. Paine clearly was unwitting of the murder at the time of the murder. But obviously she knows everything about how Oswald was set up to take the blame both before the murder and after. Yet she has denied this for 60 years.
The DOJ could use every trick in the book to get her to divulge what she knows. She could be offered immunity and she could testify in “executive session” (because everything she knows is undoubtedly “classified”). We should not let this opportunity evaporate.
It would not be unreasonable to conclude Ruth Paine was monitoring the Oswalds at the behest of some U.S. intelligence agency. It might be less realistic to believe that cutouts would not be used between Ruth Paine and forces directing the assassination. Yes, there would be the old reverse psychology strategy that no agency would function like this, so either Ruth Paine was merely randomly associated with the Oswalds or U.S. intelligence had nothing to do with Oswald. It would be good to know who she and husband Michael referred to in their often mentioned phone call.
I know you probably think that I am a pain in the ###, Jefferson, but I do appreciate all that you have done for this case, plus your ability (unlike a lot of the research community) to present the case for conspiracy with honesty, coherence, and clarity.
Looking forward with great interest to the possible reveals in 2025 and to Jeff’s Oswald File course. I’ll be prepping to be a useful student. Look how much has been gained since the Warren Fantasy.
In a perfect, honest and just universe, we would not experience sixty-one years of perversion as it relates to the murder of the most powerful person on the planet. Nearly 2025, our elected leaders have avoided the pursuit of truth as if it were the plague. We’re not going to empanel a diverse group of experts to resolve the unsolved murder mystery. Jeff, Lawrence, Chad, Margot et.al., you have moved the needle far away from a lone-gunman, actually two lone-gunmans?! You’ve entertained the likelihood of two or more shooters, non of which is LHO. A lot more work needs to be done in this area. There are a diverse group of contributors on this site that I believe could play a larger role. Similiar to the polling question on which presidential candidate is more likely to release all of the documents, I believe we could explore where Z313 was fired from. I believe Steve Jaffa could lead this inquiry. Did Jack Ruby ferry a potential assassin for insertion into the storm drain? How much of a role did Sam Giancana, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Roselli and/or Carlos Marcelo play in the conspiracy? There’s still plenty of meat on the bone waiting for the filet knife. Could the body ever be exhumed?
I am starting to look at JFK mystery from (an unusual) perspective of the Malaysia MH370 aviation mystery. There are a few differences, but the two cases are very analogous. In the MH370 case the Malaysia is covering up, denying, and stopping investigation. This then allows free-for-all for conspiracy theories, but even for the "official narrative" there are no "grown ups in the room" due to urge to deny and protect eg; Malaysian cultural values, aviation pilots and aircraft design from public scrutiny. Thus I am a pessimist for the new search (for MH370) I say is probably not going to find MH370 due to the politically correct assumptions being made. Furthermore Malaysia has zero interest in searching, but they face pressure from shipping groups willing to search at "crowd sourced" hotspots for free (unless crash site found). But crowd sourcing is probably not a prescription for solving MH370 because the crowd is either biased, and whereas the biased crowd contains most of the "rocket scientists", the non-biased crowd does not have the problem-solving skills needed. Lack of "absolute proof" is the issue in both cases. Both cases would benefit from FBI disclosure of the truths the U.S. gov't knows, but are hidden due to FOIA denial. (I just got RGroden's Absolute Proof for Xmas - I like the title).

The CIA has lied/covered up, about important events since they were formed. The JFK assassination lies have been the most damaging to our country.
