This is a tremendous development. I really think one of the best ways to communicate the JFK Story is to demolish any credibility people have for the Warren Commission by making the forceful argument that Russell, Boggs and Cooper rejected the findings and were disgusted by the proceedings. Jefferson I hope you have the opportunity to talk to Coopers aid yourself. I think more research should be done on Boggs feelings as well. He made himself enemy number 1 of the FBI and reportly spoke freely about the Warren Commission being a sham. A whole book or scholarly article should be devoted to these three Warren Commissioners.

Sad that Cokie Roberts, Boggs' daughter, never supported her dad in his firm reservations. She was a lone nutter journalist until she died in 2019.

Jeff, a word of warning.

You have become the most distinguished assassination expert after 60 years, because of your journalistic integrity. That is why the web site is called "JFK Facts," not JFK theories.

Guys like Mark Shaw will try to cozy up to you. You must vet them.

Shaw is a quack. He complains that Dorothy Killgallen wasn't summoned to testify before the HSCA. A 30 second Google search will tell you that Killgallon died in 1965, and the HSCA was approved by Congress in 1976.

He is also a proponent of the "RFK Did It" theory of the death of Marilyn Monroe. He rejects the autopsy findings of one of the greatest medical examiners of the 20th century, Dr. Thomas Nogucci. Dr. Nogucci established that the alcohol and barbiturates in Marilyn's liver had to have resulted from consumption 7 to 8 hours before her death, long before Shaw's imagined raid on her home by RFK and his henchmen.

I am sure your resident expert on Jim DeEugenio and his website, "Kennedys and King" Richard Turbull, J.D. , will provide complete references to that site.

Regarding the late Hale Boggs (D-La.), a member of the Warren Commission and alleged "doubter", I have known a partner in his son's law firm, Patton Boggs and Blow, for many years. When we meet for dinner I always explain ther latest news from JFK Facts. He always seems skeptical, claiming Hale Boggs and his son, Tommy, claimed there was no doubt that LHO did the job, on his own.

Heresay? Absolutely, just as Mr. Shaw's comments are. But I implore you to read up on Shaw, particularly the RFK/Marilyn books. This guy is not legit.

That was a great podcast, Jeff!

It’s incredible how so much new, well sourced information is emerging about the JFK assassination. It seems that the 60-year-old dam of deceit & secrecy is starting to give way. Our Nation will be better for it!

I now can count at least five men picked to investigate the JFK assassination who came to a different conclusion than what the committee concluded. From the Warren Commission is Senator Richard Russell, Senator John Sherman Cooper and Representative Hal Boggs. From the House Select Committee on Assassinations in the late 70's, both Richard Sprague and Robert Tannenbaum quit the committee when they realized that the committee was not seriously investigating the full information they had been given.

Hal Boggs was too vociferous in his public statements disagreeing with the findings of the Warren Commission and was later killed in an unexplained plane crash over Alaska. The plane and bodies on board were never found. Everyone of these men had a good reason to doubt the findings. The MSM in America never gave any of them a platform to express their opinions. If you get the opportunity, on Apple TV is John Barbour's, "American Media and the 2nd Assassination of JFK." Well researched and leaves little doubt as to the complicit cover-up of the media to prevent any alternative information that differs from the findings of the Warren Commission.

Mr. comment about the camels back is an old saying, not meant to be derogatory , instead impying that eventually the load of straws , the evidence being collected will break the camels back and the truth will be revealed.

A side note on Senator John Sherman Cooper. At the time of his being on the Warren Commission, Senator Cooper had brought into his office a young Congressional intern from his home state of Kentucky. That young man's name- Mitch McConnell.

While I am not much of a believer in historic coincidences, the fact that since Senator Cooper had other duties to perform, the possibility exists that young intern Mitch McConnell may have assisted the Senator with his work on the Warren Commission. It is known that McConnell considers Senator Cooper as his mentor and guide in his own political career. Indeed McConnell has publicly praised Cooper quite a number of times.

I'll now go out on a limb and ask a controversial question- Is there a possibility that McConnell could have had a behind the scenes influence in keeping Trump from declassifying the JFK documents?

With what we know of McConnell's worshipful admiration for Cooper, having the reputation of his mentor tarnished by him being involved in the greatest coverup in American history would not sit Trump very well with McConnell. The resulting political consequences could have been too much to bear for the 45th President.

Personal note- My mother knew Attorney Melvin Belli socially. Both of them were graduates of Cal Berkeley and had met during alumni functions.

Dulles can be seen staring holes through JFK and others in photos. I wonder if it was subconscious or intended to intimidate.
