In a nutshell, Jefferson's wrap up at the end is the whole can of worms regarding the JFK assassination. He deserves all the credit for staying on top of this particular piece of evidence since the 90's. There needs to be an investigation by a bipartisan congressional panel into the CIA cover up of the assassination of JFK. No file will be withheld, no rock unturned. The panel, not the CIA will determine if the documents in question can be seen by the public. Either way, they will see for themselves what the CIA is trying to keep from the public. In other words a full and thorough investigation. I would like to see Rep Luna head the investigation. The truth shall set us free.

Depending on how this ends, the community needs to be ready to gear up and make some noise. It is inadequate to end with missing critical documents.

Well said, and you are right. Kudos to Jefferson, and yes, we should demand a formal Congressional investigation.

They’re trying to hide their own negligence in protecting the POTUS. Or the treason committed by a highly compartmentalized group of murderers.

Hopefully time will tell.

Must have been captivating to read in 1963, when it was all so new and shocking.

But with the long passage of time that has passed, the steady stream of incompetence and lies thrown at the public, the Warren Commission has become a tiresome read.

EXCERPT:

"In this multi-part essay, I've assembled 60 critical points—both facts and queries—that not only challenge the Commission's primary conclusions but also strongly argue for Oswald's complete innocence. The widely accepted narrative that portrays Oswald as the assassin begins to crumble under rigorous scrutiny, especially when faced with a torrent of evidence teeming with inconsistencies and contamination. As we mark the 60th anniversary of President Kennedy's assassination, the need for a fresh, unbiased investigation becomes increasingly urgent. It's a striking paradox that the most intensely debated case in human history seems to have sidestepped a comprehensive investigation. As Robert Groden aptly put it, "Lee Harvey Oswald is a question mark to history. The debate is often raised, was Lee Harvey Oswald alone as the assassin or was he part of a conspiracy? The question is never raised, is it possible that he didn’t do it at all?”

******

Again, NONE of this was already worked out in 1963, and the fact is we get people even on here who assume what's still being covered up is CIA complicity in Oswald as a shooter, which already heads in the wrong direction vis-a-vis the most likely facts.

??? That's a critique of the Warren Commission systematically exonerating Oswald as a shooter, of which I am betting you know little of the specifics - and it certainly wasn't known in 1963. You need to read all six parts, when it comes to that.

My bad Rich! You’re absolutely correct. I was just referring to the Warren Commission in general.

This piece here is a great critique.

I wasn’t criticizing this at all. Or anything from Kennedys and King.

I know that was well written and researched.

I’m just worn out from reading anything Warren Commission related. It’s pretty much debunked for me.

That about sums up the Warren Omission's credibility, JM! It's amazing to still encounter its true believers, so the Cairns material and other huge problems with the medical evidence & the autopsy photos and witness accounts are useful for refuting them etc.

For example I don't think that "JFK historian" Alexis Coe who was on the panel (why? who invited her and why?) has any deep understanding of this material, either.

When it comes to the Warren Commission and its stubborn apologists, I often ask myself whose agenda are they pushing?

Especially after 60+ years of solid research that discredits the Lone Nut Theory, or the Mob did it on their own, etc.

It’s frustrating and annoying that the solid research exposing this horrible crime, received less attention and respect than it deserved.

And the publications (not research!) promoting the WC narrative received undue acclaim.

Very nice. Excellently done. Sums up exactly where we are today.

It is important yes.

But could anyone know how to read Oswald thoughts?

There was only the vague sense of him being unpredictable...he went to Russia to betray the U2 plane schedule he was an ecpert of in the Navy.

So the CIA people felt they should try to not lose him of sight...

But what else could they do?

The TIPPIT CALL hints at a foster father in his infancy called Gardos/Kardos with a typo. Allegedly linked to the KGB financed Communist Party.

Did anyone pursue this thread when the Gardos family was repatriated to Budapest to work for a publisher called Corvina led by Castro's KGB sponsor [ pensioned in 1960 and also returned to Budapest]

Since 2014 we know [ it is on the Education Forum in the Tippit Call sub] that Oswald had a Corvina Cartoon Book on his shelf.

Hidden by the widow in auctions. [ Heritage Auctioneer homepage tagged JFK LHO]

No one cares. But the Corvina KGB boss was aware of an Oval Offica advisor who did know both Gardos and the Corvina director [ Tömpe]

And he could help them [ not aware of their role in KGB] to send the Comics Book...as he could not suspect any problem in the future...a foster family reunited. He was an expert in Pentagon/Rand on the U2 cases...but why would he not help in such a private level...to not use the post for this? But his role won't have a FBI/ CIA file... so we better shrug it away.
