During his first term, Trump said that if "you had seen what he had seen" in the files, we'd have made the same decision to keep them under wraps.

Considering that the contents of those files haven't changed, I consider it highly unlikely that Trump will release them this time around. To do so would either a)reveal him to have lied about the nature of the files (the contents won't be anywhere near as explosive as he implied) or b)reveal him as a weak lackey of the deep state who bent the knee to the CIA.

Considering the man is an egomaniacal narcissist, I doubt very much he is going to put himself in this position. He'll prevaricate and obfuscate further, but nothing of substance will be released.

Thank you Larry for such a complete summary.

I find it curious that some of the delays/extensions have been fits and starts as if they are waiting for specific individuals to die. Then I sober up and recognize there are forces that will always oppose exposing the full truth.

I also think it says something that Pompeo was directly excluded from Trump 2.0. Gives one hope

Do we know if there is a nominee for the new APNSA and if so what their perspective on disclosure might be?

Lastly, recognizing that RFKJ is focused on his own HHS nomination and hopefully building his own team, Larry please gently stay in his orbit. Having someone with your knowledge and history able to directly communicate with RFKJ is stunning.
