What we are experiencing at this very moment is all out war against liberal democracy. It and the class of criminal Elites can no longer coexist. One must be destroyed.

The criminal elite seem to be winning.

For a great many years IтАЩve theorized that technological advances tend initially to serve the interests of the criminal class тАФ with the general population needing time to catch up and mount a counteroffensive.

I think thatтАЩs what weтАЩre seeing play out now. The flow of information at hypersonic speed enabled by the Internet I think has elevated the criminal Elites to a level of overwhelming dominance. But we are starting to take back that territory. The only thing that can stop us is if the Elites are able to shut down the Internet which is clearly their intention. And thereтАЩs no way to predict who wins until they either succeed or fail to succeed in shutting it down.

In 2002, I was sent to Miami-Dade County to observe the election. Apart for the congressional midterms, FL was having a gubernatorial one. Jeb Bush became the first GOP governor to win re-election I think in the history of the state.

I couldnтАЩt observe the same way I had in Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, etc., because 2002 saw the introduction of the Diebold touch-screen voting machines. It was actually the least transparent voting system IтАЩd ever seen, ironically (no printed voter lists or ballots, only laptops and modems), but was introduced to prevent a repeat of the debacle in 2000. It turned out Diebold was a client of the law firm in which Bush was a partner together with (get ready for it) his Democratic opponent! The Dems nominated that guy (I forget his name) over Janet Reno, who (believe it or not) had very high poll numbers at the time.

In 2013, Diebold was done for bribery on an international scale:

Great comments and link re Diebold.

Shows how тАЬtheyтАЭ always turn a crisis (2000 election) into a pretext for increased authoritarian control.

Also shows how corrupt Diebold/Premier Election Solutions ties to ES&S, Venezuelan firm Sequoia Voting, and Canadian firm Dominian Voting.
